Opemia is joining the Veteran Institute of Procurement

Opemia Consulting is excited to announce that we have been accepted into the Veteran Institute of Procurement Start Program


The VIP START is a 3-day, 27-hour comprehensive certification program designed for veteran-owned businesses seeking to enter or expand their business into the Federal market. Facilitated by subject matter experts, participants receive hands-on, market-based instruction that establishes best business practices and accelerates the rate of becoming procurement ready for government opportunities.


Designed by seasoned executives from industry and government, VIP is the first-ever national center to train SDVOSBs and VOSBs to succeed in Federal contracting.

About the Veteran Institute for Procurement

VIP is a training program for owners, principals, and C-level executives of service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses that specifically addresses federal procurement. VIP is Funded by the MCCC Foundation, VIP is underwritten by corporate sponsorships from Lockheed Martin and JP Morgan Chase & Co., and grants from SBA and the State of Maryland. VIP is offered at NO COST to participants and now offers five specific curriculums designed to accelerate success and ensure each graduate.
